Join us for an interactive afternoon discovering common ground while in conversations across political differences. Based in principles of Marshall Rosenberg’s Nonviolent Communication, we will look at how to find and articulate common values in polarized situations to support connection and collaboration, rather than fueling more division. This session will focus on practicing conversational skills and increasing confidence to engage in hard discussions. Our FINAL parade of the year will be the Menomonie Winter Daze Parade on Thursday, December 12 and we need YOUR help to make our float a success!  We'll be sharing the holiday spirit while also passing out mini-U.S. flags to all the kids along the parade route. This a really fun event with opportunities to walk alongside the float or ride on it - something for everyone!

Volunteers are needed at 6:00 PM and the parade starts at 6:30 PM.  Dress warmly and bring all your holiday hats & lights!
